Hi all.
59yr male. First time posting. Looking to start an 8 week cycle. Have been doing low dose Dr prescribed trt for about 5 years. Dose is 1 ml test cypionate per week. Noticeable difference for me with it. Fairly active and athletic all my life until past 10 months due to injury, separated shoulder, and just life. My workouts vary but usually involve a 1 mile run for a warm up followed by weights about 4 days/week with some HIIT training as well as playing squash 1 or 2 times a week which gives me a great calorie burn in about an hr-close to 1000, plus it’s fun. Enjoy tabata workouts doing usually 6-7 rounds which incorporates weights and body weight exercises, burpees, push-ups etc.
6’ tall. 207lb - about 15 lbs heavier than normal for me. My goal is to get back to around 190.
Diet will be restricted to a daily deficit of about 1500-2000 day since my goal will be mainly to trim and tone/harden up. My protein intake will be around 260 grams per day with the remainder being low calorie veggies and good fats to help me feel full. Water intake will be around 2-3 litre.
I’ve done it before and was very pleased with the results. Body fat went fairly low for me. I was just using a home body fat scale so not sure how accurate but was saying I dropped to about 10%-11% and a times was under 10% but seemed rare and not sustained for me.
Now looking to add Cardarine/GW to help with the fat burning, also just started taking Berberine, 750mg 2x day. Have also been considering upping my test but not all that much. I’m worried about prostate and liver. With that being said looking to add Tudca when starting GW. Want to do things very cautiously so any help and advice here would be appreciated. Also note that I’m a cancer survivor, 20 yrs ago, so I want to be extra cautious.

Thanks for all the info and advice. Greatly appreciated. My training and diet this upcoming week is going to be all over the place. I'm going to be on the road quite a bit helping both my kids out. Going to be a bit hectic since I won't be home.

So won't be starting seriously till following week. Will say this morning that played squash for an hr and a half then walked 5 km with wife. More cardio than anything.

Pics to come. Dreading posting pics due to how bad I look now. Like I mentioned earlier, since I found out about my wife's diagnosis I was in a bad place.and that was on top of my shoulder injury. I just didn't give a shit anymore. Just started eating and drinking at night, a lot, too much. So I gained weight and I'm pretty embarrassed of how I beat my body up. I now look and feel like shit. Big difference from how I was 2 yrs ago which was in the best shape of my life. I want that again.
My wife was the one that stepped in to ask what the hell I was doing. Reminded me that we still have a couple kids and family that rely on us. As usual, she was right. lol. She is like a damn GI Jane. 58, stage 4 cancer and crushing Caroline Girvan workouts, look em up - the lady is a machine, that most 20 yr olds couldn't finish. Push-up and pull ups galore plus weights (reduced now due to her bone cancer, but not much). So I looked at her doing them and now that my shoulder is better I just said enough is enough, get your fat ass in gear. So here I am.

As for supplements, will list below:
These are daily.
Mag malate. 100mg
Glycine 1500mg.
Co Q10. 100mg
Niacin. 500mg.
NAC. 600mg
Test cypionate. 1 ml week.
Folic acid. 400mcg
K2 D3. 1000IU
B12. 1200mcg
Zinc 25mg
Berberine. 1500mg.
Originally was considering Ostarine and GW to add to Test, but seems like most people advised that GW alone would be best. Also will be ordering Tudca to protect liver once I start. I would consider upping my Test dosage but will do so cautiously. Remember my goal is safe and I don't mind slowly. I want lean and hard to be the goal.

So at this point unsure of what Canadian supplier and what dosage will be safe but effective. I know Umbrella has been mentioned numerous times before but if I don't have to go over border to get them I would like to buy from within Canada. Will order this week and hopefully receive so I can start into it following week.
Most of these supplements are for general health and not really towards my fitness goals but just thought would mention them.

You mention psyllium husk, what does that do?

Thank you and my cancer was 20 yrs ago. Tongue and lymph in neck. I was fit, non smoker, social drinker. Treatments were tough, that's why I'm being so cautious. Don't want a repeat. lol.
@Gio777 bros sometimes can be just bad luck. good thing they caught it. knew someone had same thing but doctors ignored it too long said it was nothing

@Gio777 1 mile run is very impressive. You don't see too many people able to do that. Especially a guy like you who's a big guy over 200 lbs

Well it's been 20 yrs now and it should be gone for good, knock on wood. Cancer has run rampant in my family in the last 5 yrs. My wife twice annd she is battling it now and I have 3 brothers and they all got it as well. Crazy. Brothers are all doing ok and now in remission.
If I can give everyone here a word of advice. I know everyone always thinks it won't happen to me but unfortunately it sometimes does. And I hope it never does for you or your loved ones. But my word of advice is to get catastrophic or critical illness insurance. It's expensive but well worth it if you ever get diagnosed. It's a one time payout to you right away upon diagnosis. I didn't have it when I got sick and I couldn't work for 18 months. Ate all my savings up very quickly. Makes a difficult time much less stressful and manageable.
